Democratic Majority for Israel was founded in 2019 by former Hillary Clinton pollster Mark Mellman to push back against progressive criticism of Israel within the Democratic Party. DMFI operates a traditional PAC (DMFI PAC) for direct contributions and an affiliated super PAC (Democratic Majority for Israel) for independent expenditures.
